To end off my #Mothersday my experience at Freddo at Hazelwood was the cherry on top. Not only was the service top notch the drinks and cakes were fresh and delicious. Great ambience and beautiful settings.
The Sliders were so delicious. My favorite was the Beef Slider, it was so good and flavourful. The caramelized onions added a rich, savory sweetness. I would definitely recommend them.
The chicken sliders are phenomenal 😋 chips very good, mocktails also great but the chicken toastie was average. Service was good, but could have been a bit more attentive. We will be back for those sliders!
There are always surprises there: waiters who sometimes grab an umbrella and help you to the car with your take away in heavy rains and oh my word! The Oreo Cheescake with Chocolate is the best Cheese cake in Pretoria. And I know about Cheese cakes... this one literally takes you somewhere you have never been!
Fredo" in Hazelwood was a delightful experience it was! Our waitress, Ntombi, was absolutely amazing - attentive, friendly, and efficient. She truly made our dining experience great. The food was impressive, particularly the Halloumi cubes, which were hands-down the best I've ever had! The portion size was generous, and the flavours were expertly perfect. The cocktails, while quite strong, were somewhat basic for the price. However, they did the job! The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful atmosphere and a great vibe. I also tried the unique croissant muffin with delicious filled chocolate, which was an interesting and tasty treat. The area surrounding Fredo is lovely, with an upper-class feel that adds to the overall ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend Fredo for its exceptional service, tasty food, and beautiful atmosphere. They have a fantastic happy hour special, every day from 16:00 - 18:00 as far as I know and all cocktails and beers.
